What is a compatible or Generic Cartridge?
Refers to products manufactured by an independent or third party manufacturer in accordance to known specifications of the product. Also known as generic or compatible products. Example, Fram oil filters maybe used as a substitute or replacement part for an original Delco oil filter. A Doctor may prescribe a generic drug to replace the higher priced name brand product.

What is the diference between A, D or G last letter on HP cartridges?
This letter indicate the cartridge's capacity, normally the "A" is large, "D" for normal and "G" for low, HP uses this nomenclature in their cartridges but when the cartridge is remanufactured we refill the cartridge to their maximum capacity ("A"), this mean that you get more ink that normally get on a normal HP cartridge.

The print quality is the same?
Many users swear by remanufactured inkjet cartridges and say that they can't ascertain differences in print quality over more costly OEM products. Others, particularly those who insist on the highest-quality output for digital photographs, maintain that cartridges from the printer vendors are necessary for picture perfection. If you fall into the former faction, it's a good bet that remanufactured cartridges could cut your consumables costs without affecting output. It's not exactly a license to print money, but it is a permit to print more prudently.

What is OEM?
Represents the phrase "Original Equipment Manufacturer" which is generally associated with the brand name of the manufacturer. Example, General Motors Corp, original manufacturer of automobiles uses Delco automotive parts as the brand name. The company holding the brand name does not necessarily manufacture the brand name product

Remanufactured cartridges cost at least 30% less. Is there any reason not to buy?
There's nothing thirstier than a well-used inkjet printer, which can guzzle a $30 cartridge in what seems like a single sip. And any Ctrl-P devotee will tell you that replacement ink cartridges sold by printer makers can just as swiftly drain your bank account. Remanufactured cartridges, which usually cost at least 30 percent less than those sold by printer original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), are a better deal for consumers. They're also good for the environment. Remanufacturers refill depleted cartridges, keeping thousands of tons of industrial-grade plastic and metals from ending up in landfills each year, according to the International Imaging Technology Council (IITC), an industry group formed to support the remanufactured-consumables industry. Recycled cartridges also restrain printer makers from monopolizing the lucrative consumables market, a constraint that printer OEMs appear eager to fight. "Printer vendors have definitely ratcheted up the stakes and are becoming more aggressive as the cartridge-replacement industry approaches $3 billion in worldwide annual sales," says Patricia Judge, executive director of the IITC. "They're getting more aggressive with smart chips, and they're basically giving away $100 printers, which has created a need to protect [the consumables] marketplace."

Will remanufactured cartridges affect Printer Warranty?
THIS IS A LEGITIMATE QUESTION AND HERE IS YOUR ANSWER - NO! Manufacturers can not require you to use their brand ink anymore than car manufacturers can require you to use only one brand of gasoline. Here is why: Invalidating the warranty would violate the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Improvement Act. It's also an infraction of antitrust laws. Motivated by profits, printer makers say the use of refurbished cartridges can result in damaged printheads, ink leaks, and inferior output.

Important Purchase Considerations
* See if the seller have a customer service for after-sale support if needed. * Read all product information before buy it. * What is the company's published return policy? * Does the company offer free shipping or a discount? What are the restrictions? * Be careful with the sellers that sell EXPIRED cartridges. or with the oem's failed sellers, their sell at too low prices and the cartridges have factory fails. * Read Consumer feedback, the good and the bad, see the overall rating * Be careful with people without quality control, no regulations. no clear information about the product. * How much ink goes into the cartridge? * What is the quality of ink the remanufacturer is using? * And what are you saving 50% off? It is a very common practice of websites to compare remanufactured cartridges to BRAND NEW cartridge prices. You've probably noticed that Ink Printer Cartridges keep getting more expensive (or the same price but a small chamber) The solution is to buy a quality remanufactured inkjet cartridge, You will not be able to tell the difference between a quality remanufactured ink cartridge and the original manufactures own ink cartridge. Important: I have shown print outs to my family and friends asking them to compare the print quality of a refilled cartridge to the print quality of a brand new OEM cartridge. And no one (myself included) has ever been able to tell the difference.
